Planning ahead
Took two hours but I did it.... I have planed 20 outfits (a month's worth) for my upcoming subinternship (assuming I'm not working weekends..I hope).
Why I did this you ask? Because I always get up at the verrrry last min possible in the mornings and I never have time to pick out something decent to wear, I end up just throwing anything on and look like a complete slob. So now, all I do is wake up and I know exactly what I'm going to wear, its like when you were small and your mom picked out your clothes :)
And if you're wondering why its ok to wear a lot of sleeveless ...they make us wear a white coat, so sleeves are not much of an issue.
Sorry for the poor phone camera n lighting, I'm at the boy's pad and I guess he doesn't care for a nice mirror or a nice lamp. Boys...

stitch fix
So I heard about stitch fix from 9to5chic's site and thought it was a fun idea for these reasons.
1. I love shopping
2. I love packages
3. I love surprises
4. I love when other ppl pick out things for me to try.
mmm well this has all of that! How it works:
1. You sign up, fill out a style survey on what you like, your size..etc
2. pay $20 dollars.
3. They will send you five pieces to try on at home with your own shoes , jewelery, accessories and no "mall lighting!" so you can really decided what you like and also try things you probably never would've picked out on your own.
4. Choose what you want to keep and what you don't send it back. That 20 dollars you paid initially will go into the purchase of your item . Shipping/return shipping is free!
I signed up and a week later I was on their list. I filled out the survey putting mostly "classic, work, simple" and here is what they sent me!
1. BB Dakota "Izzy Tunic" $60 (worn with H&M jacket)
3. BCBG "rachel leopard mini dress" $ 118 (with Jcrew necklace and bracelets )
4. Theme "Rarrah Halter Dress" $65
5. pair of gold stud earrings, too lazy to take picture of.
Sizing: First off, one thing I would like to commend them on is: HOLY CRAP they got my size down to the T, even better then me shopping for myself online! everything fit purrrfectly.
Price: I did a lil research online and their prices are the same as online AND they have free shipping and return. So you're not paying more than you would retail and probably saving a few on shipping/returns/hassle.
Style: Well can't argue there, I loved everything they picked out, it's like having your own stylish pen-pal that sends you clothes every once in a while.
So what did I decide to keep? Number 1! the tunic, it was cheapest lol but I happen to like it the most too. Believe me I wanted to keep the red dress, its sooo something I would have never picked out but I loved it... but Ierno when and how often I would get to wear it out. The lepoard print was too short for work and a bit out of my price range. The last dress was impossible to put on alone because the back is all buttons and it was a lil too sultry for my particular workplace..where sick people are.
So I returned the rest. : sadface:
But I'm verrrrrrrrrrrrry excited to see what they send me next month.
Join with me and put me as a reference!!

UO and Anthro Hall
Urban Outfitters was having has been having an Additional 50% off Sales ! It's been going on for at least 2 weeks now and everytime I think the store is cleaned out, I find new things on the sales rack I had not noticed before. Here are the ones I picked up today: ( apologize ahead for the mirror shots, too lazy to set up tripod and cam).
1. Romper $15
I love how comfy and fitting this romper is for me. I'm esp fond of things that have wire bustiers , cause for one, gives u fuller looking boobs lol, and otherwise tight around the chest rompers can give you muffin tops.
2. Silk Frock $15
I was drawn to the asymmetrical hem and the print! It was frompy in the store, but nothing a belt can't fix.
3. Chiffon mini dress $19
Ierno why I bought this dress, its not like I go out enough to wear it. Alas I was suckered in by the omg its so cheap <$20 dollar craze.
Sister store Anthropology was having additional 25% off sales! I picked up these two:
1. Sequined top dress $50 - Will come in handy when I get invited to another wedding lol!
2. Trench Cape Coat $50 , been eyeballing 9to5's coat, but cannot afford at that price point. Found this great alternative for less than 100!
That is all, have you found anything of note on the sales rack lately?

Gilly Hicks
Why have I not heard of this store before? I went to a mall, mall today in a suburb of Chicago and my friend took me to this store for the first time and I was blown away. Rows and rows and rows of bras in all sizes, colors, shapes, types, all neatly lined and lit. Turns out the store is the "cheeky cousin" of Abercrombie.
I love the way the store looks. It's dimly lit like A&F , but the furnishings are like southern , shabby chic kind of stuff. I think I love it partly because this is how I wish my closet would look one day.
The fitting room is also awesome! For one, its huge, and I get my own comfy bench. Also, it has a drawer full of EVERY size and style of bra they carry, so you can try them all on. If you like one they will get the color/pattern you like.
Best of all? THE PRICE! At 20-40 bucks at bra (ok..) but additional 50% off...I got like 8 bras for what would be the price of 2 from Victoria Secret. The quality is also pretty good, maybe not up to par with VS but at 1/5 the price... I think they're pretty darn nice. Also its hard to resist all the colors, florals, and lace...all so nicely sitting in their drawers >.<
There's on in the Galleria back home, so you girls go check it out!
I was sad I only selected boring colors (black, white, nude) cause they're work safe and easy to wear under things. But there were so many strips/dots/florals/lace that were so cute!!!
My fav was the racerback bra =D
