I actually didn't get much. The boutiques in SoHo all sold stuff that I've seen in stores else where that were much cheaper. A shirt for 200? no thanks. I was only looking at stores that are only found there so I didn't bother with like forever or H and M or anything standard.
Uniqlo - Japanese store with lots of basics, like t shirts and sweaters. Nothing special so I didn't grab much. Got a skinny tie and hoody for Bobby. Got myself three skinny belts for work $ 7 bucks each.
Topshop- 1. way too crowded 2. stuff was pricey overall 3. clothes were too fashion fwd for me.
I only picked up two cream blush $12 in nutmeg and butterscotch

I actually saw a few stores in NYC in Soho selling the belt for $50 bucks!!! Geebus. And I got in online for 6! the exact one! the quality is actually pretty good considering i've had bad experiences buying stuff online from China. But this belt is a great replica of the one in the movie...get one if you wanna try it for six bucks!

Cloche hats
Hats used to be a really big thing in style if you go back to the 1920s, 1930s and so now. They're starting to make a comeback now with fedoras but I would love to see more hats come into play ..cause then I don't have to comb my hair in the mornings =D
This is a remake of the1930's style of hat..called cloche.. similar in shape to the one worn by angelina jolie in The Changling
I think this style hat is a lot cuter than the fedora and more feminine. They started popping up last couple of winters and are steadily making a comeback.
I bought a black wool one from Target last winter....for winter wear but here is a recent purchase of a straw one for summer. What do you think?

target : a black hole for money
Why is it that when I go to target, I can never leave spending less than $20... never.
Today I went to go buy dog pads and ended up getting TWO new lipsticks.... but they were both on clearance ;)
Jemma Kidd Sheer Vanity Lipstick in Pret A Porter was$16 .... now $8
This is def a very sheer lipstick but I LOVE IT, It gives a really nice sheer peachy coral gloss w/o the stickiness of your regular lip gloss. And I am a BIG, BIG, sucker for packaging and I love the fun design of this lipstick..not your regular black cheap looking . After having spazzed out and bought a whole bunch of drug store lipsticks (Revlon, Mabyelline, etc) I have to say there IS a big difference in feel and quality of drug store makeup and brand name makeup. This is def smooth to glide on and doesn't dry or chap my lips like most of the drug stores one do (even Mac lipsticks tend to be dry...not a fan anymore) . This brand is also made in Italy if you care.
NP Set in Boston$16 .... now $5
This color def looks on the red side, but in person its much more a light coral. This is my 2nd NP set and I LOVE this brand of lipstick (if it wasn't so expensive ) and the color options are limited. But this one was on clearance so I gave it a try and wow, I love this color! I"m too lazy to swatch and try it on myself ..so here's pictures I stole from another blog (she put on a lot to show the color, but with one layer it looks perfect). Also NP set has one of the smoothest and most moisturizing lipstick I have...even more than Chanel (Chanel has greater staying power though).

the sex in the city belt
Um. lol i'm so late on this bandwagon
but I was watching the Sex in the City movie 1 (which has wayyyyyyyyyyyy better clothes than the 2nd movie) and I remember how much I loved Carrie's punk vintage belt. So a lil ebaying and I bought a replica for 6 bucks. I'll let u know how it is when it arrives and what I plan to do with it.
